sorry for my late reply.I'm an engineer in a big computer company giving
support for customers (SW support).
But I asked you 'cause I like evrything concerned with ships. I always try to
get into the machine room when I'm on one of those. I'm fascinated by how they
work, the massive tons they have to push and the hp's they have at such low rpm's.
I used to live in Raleigh, N.C. for three years and when we returned to Germany
we went by ship from Tampa, Fl. to Rotterdam. Took us about 2 weeks and I guess
I must have spent half of the time in the machinery.
